Is It Thursday Yet?

Wednesdays are extremely busy days for me. I don’t stop once from the time I get up in the morning until the time I go to bed at night. I have three classes back to back early in the morning. I wake up around 8:15, try to make it to breakfast by about 8:45, and have my first class of the day, Mass Communications, at 9:10. Classes on Wednesdays last for an hour. At 10:20, I have my Western Civilization class, and at 11:30 I have Psychology of Adulthood. After this class, at about 12:30, I have to get in my work-out because on Wednesdays, I miss cross country practice (which would normally be at 6:00) because of my night class. After working out, I grab a quick lunch, shower as quickly as possible and try to fit in some homework or a call to my parents. If I’m lucky, I might even be able to clean up my room a little bit. At 4:00, I have a newspaper meeting. This runs until about 5:30. As soon as it ends, I run over to the cafeteria to get a fast dinner before my 6:00 Photography class, which lasts until 9:00. At this point, I’m ready to pass out.
I would never be able to participate in all the things that I do on campus if I didn’t live here. For anyone who is debating whether or not to live on campus, I would definitely recommend it. It allows you to get involved on a completely different level. If you’re someone who is active in a lot of things at your high school, and you plan on continuing that into college, try and dorm if given the option. Plus, dorming is a great way to make plenty of new friends. Living on campus can be a lot of fun (assuming, of course, that your roommate doesn’t snore). Attending events on campus is much easier when all you have to do is walk across the campus instead of commuting from home. As far as Wednesdays go… it’s a good thing they only come once a week, because they leave me thoroughly exhausted.
