This past weekend was Family Weekend and I think more families actually showed up. My dad never comes, its a drive from Rochester and he works all weekend anyways, but this year I went to a bunch of the activties, I had to for the paper. Friday night was the Honors awards. It was nice and I am proud to be one of 25 students that got a Who’s Who Among Students of American Universities and Colleges. Its funny because when I was younger I remember being in a bookstore and seeing the book that all the students are in and thinking that someday I want to be in that book.
Saturday was the hypotonist which is always a blast. Seeing classmates doing stupid things on stage is always worth a good laugh. Although, I’m kind of a doubter when it comes to that kind of stuff. I don’t know if I actually believe that they truly don’t know what they are doing during it, but if they can act that well more power to them.
Sunday was cold, but I bared it to go to the soccer games. I’m proud to be a Mav and I love cheering on the boys and girls. That and I had to take pictures for the paper.
This was my last Family Weekend and I actually found myself kind of sad. I’m starting to realize that everything is my last time.
