Long weekends. Man, I wish there were more of them. An extra day off gives time for catching up on homework, catching up with friends, and catching up on sleep. I was able to do all of those things this weekend.

This Saturday, I attended the women’s basketball game, which was more than a game, but an event called “Think Pink.” I had to write an article on it for the newspaper, and I am really happy with the way things went. “Think Pink” is a breast cancer awareness initiative started by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association. I am so glad that Medaille takes part in great programs like that.

We had off on Monday for the President’s Day holiday. For some reason, the week is just easier when Monday isn’t at the beginning. Having a “Tuesday Monday” was quite refreshing, and not nearly as bad as a “Monday Monday.” I only had two classes (which was a nice change from the regular four I have on Mondays).

Today, I had to make my advisement appointment for fall semester. Isn’t that crazy? This semester just started. I can’t believe that next semester I will be starting my second half of college. I feel like I just graduated from high school. Where in the world did the time go?
