I was pretty disappointed this morning when I woke up and realized that yes, it’s Monday, and no, I do not have off. Looks like another long week ahead. Today I was a little stressed out because I had a test and a quiz that I really wanted to do well on. I’m feeling pretty confident about the test I took (in Logic, which can be pretty hefty stuff), but was not feeling quite so positive about my current events quiz in my Journalism class. Hopefully I’ll nail the next one.

This week is also production week for the next edition of the newspaper. I just returned from a couple hours in the office and will most likely spend a good portion of my day there tomorrow. I sometimes wonder if the people who read the newspaper understand how much hard work really goes into creating it. I am glad I got involved, because it turns out that I really enjoy being a part of a medium that informs the students, faculty, and staff of our campus about what’s going on.

Tomorrow is the day that I have to make my schedule for next semester. I was pretty bummed to find out that my Honors course in the fall is at 8am. I haven’t had an 8am class in quite a while, and I was really getting used to it. Don’t get me wrong, I like early classes, but 9:10 is such an improvement from 8, and 10:20 is pretty much perfect. I suppose there’s nothing I can do. Hopefully the rest of my schedule will fall into place so that I don’t have a lot of holes. I like to have all my classes in a row so that I can have free time in the afternoons/mornings to do homework and everything else.
