Congratulations are definitely in order for the men’s and women’s basketball teams. In the past few days, both have made school history. The women’s team won their third straight AMCC Championship, and will be participating in the NCAA Tournament for the third time. The men’s team, though they lost in the semi-finals, has improved exponentially since the mere three years ago when they had a winless season (and the hopes of even making it to the tournament were slim). Both teams have come very far — hopefully the women will be able to continue their success in the NCAA tournament, and I have no doubt that the guys will be seeing similar success in the next year or two. Change takes time, but they’re certainly on their way.

Tomorrow is Monday. Again. The weeks are flying by. It will be spring break before I know it, and then summer vacation after that. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but the thought of nice weather makes me wish it would hurry up! I just can’t take much more of this winter stuff.
